Comité de Apoyo a los Trabajadores Agrícolas (CATA)

PRAC of Southern NJ in Partnership with Comité de Apoyo a los Trabajadores Agrícolas (CATA) provides information regarding right workers of farmworkers and low-wage immigrant workers who actively engage in the struggle for better working and living conditions. CATA’s overarching goal is to facilitate the Latinx community’s ability to fight for their basic human rights.

CATA's mission is to empower farmworkers and immigrant workers to fight for their rights so they can live a full life. We work together to achieve safe working and living conditions, fair wages, and to be treated with respect and dignity. CATA’s program areas focus on workers’ rights, health and safety in the workplace,  immigrant's rights, and food justice, education methodology, which actively involves workers in the process of social change with analysis and proposed actions coming directly from those affected.
