Meet the Document Assistance and Support for Housing (DASH) Program!
DASH is a dynamic partnership where the DCA / Office of Housing Assistance (OHA) Field Office links individuals experiencing homelessness or working to avoid it with community service providers. We’re here to assist you in obtaining vital documents, delivering pre/post tenancy services, and offering continuous support for annual recertification. Let’s make a positive impact together!
Document Support Services
• Application/forms completion.
• Payment for document fees.
• Individualized Housing Plan.
• Translation services (Bilingual staff, Google translate)
• Transportation for appointments/obtaining documents.
• Support in identifying and obtaining necessary
documents.
• Pre/Post tenancy services and support.
• Budgeting and financial counseling.
• Access to job training/employment services.
• Case management.
• Financial coaching.
• Transportation.
• Educational support related to housing stability.
• Annual recertification eligibility.
• Households applying for a DCA housing voucher.
• Households referred to DASH providers by DCA.
• Voucher types available for Housing Choice Voucher (HCV), Emergency Housing Voucher (EHV) and State Rental Assistance Program (SRAP).
